Prateek Gandotra organizes Miss & Mrs. International India 2019

 


Prateek Gandotra brother of actor Rohan Gandotra recently organized Miss & Mrs. International India 2019, a beauty pageant promoting recycled clothing. The pageant took place at the Kingdom of Dreams, Gurugram on the 12th of October 2019.


Miss International India 2019 has been awarded to Miss Tanushree from Delhi, who belongs to a family of bureaucrats and believes in serving the society. In the past, she has been awarded the Best Fashion Achiever of India-2018 and has been Honoured by Former National General Secretary of BJP in 2019. Mrs. International India 2019 has been awarded to Mrs. Meena Sharma from the pink city, Jaipur. Being an emotional person, she is really passionate about helping others.


The event was attended by renowned celebrities such as Sonnalli Seygall, who was crowned the Pantene Teen Pageant and Miss India International 2006 and made her acting debut with Pyaar ka Punchnama in 2011, Rita Gangwani, President of India Awarded and the foundation coach of Miss World Manushi Chhillar and many others, Rohan Gandotra, an Indian television actor who debuted with Star Plus magnum opus show by Ashutosh Gowariker Everest and has been seen in shows such as Kaala Teeka, Dil Se Dil Tak. The other guests included Haneet Bhasin Vohra, Director and Design Head - Couture by Haneet Bhasin Vohra, Director Marketing - KSB Designs as well as the Ambassador for Pinkathon- the largest women’s marathon in the country and Pammy Kaul, Technical Director of Headmasters chain of salons & spa’s and style Ambassador for Schwarzkopf India.

“The thought emerged with an intent to contribute valuable for our future generations. I thought of promoting recycled clothing which would lead to a reduction in carbon emissions from the textile industry and consequently, less of cancerous diseases caused due to such toxic emissions. And, what could be the better way than a beauty pageant to spread this awareness among people. Thus, the evolution of Miss & Mrs. International India 2019 happened,” says Prateek.

The pageant was held for the first time this year and will be an annual affair from now on.
