Director of Lipstick Under My Burkha named one of India's 50 Most Influential Young Indians by GQ

Director of upcoming film Lipstick Under My Burkha, Alankrita Shrivastava, has been honoured as one of India's Most Influential Young Indians by GQ. 

An elated Alankrita says, "It is such a huge honour to be part of the GQ Most influential Young Indian awardees. It makes me believe in the power of cinema, and the power of stories. By telling an honest story, one can create so many conversations and debates. Lipstick Under My Burkha has won so many awards across the world, but this award is special because it means that as filmmakers we can perhaps influence society in some small way through our little stories and our unique points of view."
