A wonderful play of coordinates consisting of kurtas, classic gowns with vintage embellishments & prints. The collection was synonymous with sophisticated drama, feminine motifs, unabashed grandeur and contemporary structure amply visible in their designs. The color palette consists of soft and subtle colors using golds, champagnes, salmons and pale blues. Araaish was initiated in 2007 in Mumbai, the city of dreams. It began as a tribute to Mrs. Vipula Kadri, whose dream was to empower women and children. This unique fundraising event continues to attract the country’s most coveted designers. Over the years, the shows have been held at the Blue Sea, Worli. Since Mumbai is known for its altruistic spirit, the entire city comes out each year to shop and support a good cause at Araaish.
